handmade Costume & poster design

The concept was a recreation of the children’s story ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ by Maurice Sendak but with a feminist protagonist. The execution was a hand-cut, painted and stitched cape made of of fabric, leather and synthetic feather in an earthy palette.
